A FEW RAW EXAMPLES I”VE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO PRODUCE
Over the years, living in Oklahoma, California and New York City I have had the good fortune of doing event and brand photography with some amazing up and coming start ups and established brands throughout the years. Some mom and pop stores, some more names you may know like Jameson, Netflix, SXSW, Lincoln, Heineken, Vice, Square Space, Adult Swim and some others listed below.
One thing that never changes is the love I get to put into creating photographs for people. Because, brands are just made of people. People are real. We need someone who cares creating our video and images. Diligence, ingenuity and creativity go into creating raw images that can help your brand grow for years to come. I aim to provide at least three things.
Staged photos serve a purpose and are sometimes necessary, but there is always something real there to capture. Just floating through on stock looking photos might get you by, but it won’t tell your real story.
Anyone can create a beautiful backdrop and have people smile at the camera. What’s important are the moments in between the moments. The little smiles, the connections and the comfort that people find. You won’t see me telling you exactly where to place your hands and telling you what to do, unless you want me to. I want to capture who people really are.
Over the course of 10 years or so, I’ve had myself in a many different scenarios that have forced me to create out of mental necessity. I’ve seen what brands look for and what they need to grow. A consistent set of looks that invoke positive feelings and cater to your market are in my opinion the most important set of tools in today’s online environment.
Getting Started on Event and Brand Photography
Once we define your goals, it it’s usually pretty easy. I’d love to chat over coffee, text, email or on the phone if you have a project you are remotely considering.
